ALOHA!!!

Aloha cousins!!! Mike and I just returned from an amazing trip together to Hawaii. It was so nice to get away and just enjoy each other with no worry of work, etc. It was a little cloudy while we were there which was perfect. Hope you enjoy our pictures.

Waikiki Beach area-There were so many pretty spots to stop while walking along waikiki

Pearl Harbor & USS Bowfin - We thought we would honor our veterans by visiting Pearl Harbor on Veterans day. We enjoyed learning all about Dec. 7 1941. They also have a submarine and I have decided I have no desire to be stuck on one...CLAUSTROPHOBIA!!!
See the Tiny Holes they have to climb through!

Surfing...Yes we both did get up but no pictures. The blue boards are what we used. It was so much fun to be picked up by a wave!
Mike driving out lunch cruise boat. We found some dolphins on the way and stopped to watch them. They were so cute! The babies were doing tricks for us.

Yummiest snow cone EVER!!! It was so good.

We rented mopeds and rode up to the trail head of this waterfall. The rainforest in Hawaii was absolutely breathtaking. So green and beautiful.

Halloween

As mentioned previously I really like halloween. I love to dress up and make costumes out of things I have laying around. This year was no different. Here are the promised pictures of our costumes.

Captain Hook & Tinkerbell

Our ward did a Trunk-or Treat. In keeping with the Captain Hook theme we decorated our trunk like so. I think Mike only scared a couple little kids.
The Trunk

Michele, next year you just need to tell me what your kids want to be early enough that I can help you...it would also help if you moved a little closer!

We also decided to carve pumpkins this year. I don't think we have done that since we have been married. We were a little slow and didn't actually get them carved until halloween morning...stupid work schedule. But I think they turned out pretty good for just winging it. We wanted them to be interesting not just faces so we searched the good ole internet for some ideas and came up with this...

If you can't tell what they are there is a spider in a web and a mummy!
Hope everyone had a happy halloween!
