Where has the summer gone?
I realize that I have totally been a blog slacker. This summer has totally flown by. It might be the fact that there were more stormy days so it feels like summer only came for a few weeks and you better believe that if it was nice and warm we wanted to be out playing.
We'll start at the beginning...My oldest niece Shalece graduated from High School. It seems crazy that she is old enough to go off to college. I made her a candy bar bouquet for graduation, which took me longer than anticipated. Lucky for me she is not going too far away so I will still get to see her around. We love you Lece!
My husband loves me and took me to the Paramore concert...ok so it really was No Doubt with Paramore, but lets be honest I went for Paramore...although I do enjoy No doubt. Anyway it was so much FUN. I loved every minute of it. Thanks Honey!
The last few years Mike and have been going to the parade of homes. We like to be wishful thinkers. It is fun to look at all the homes and start our wish list. Hopefully someday some of the things will be a reality...but until then we will just enjoy looking at other peoples amazing homes.

4th of July we went with Blake and Jami up to their condo up ogden canyon. We came up with this brilliant idea to have her dad bring up the boat so we could watch fire works on the lake. He agreed so we played on the lake until dark. My knee boarding skills are improving. It was so fun to watch the fireworks on a boat.

Mike and I were in charge of Youth Conference for our Ward. I hope the kids had fun, because I did. We went down to Snow College. Did some water games, a fireside, and a rope course. At the rope course we did the faith fall. That was crazy. I am a pretty daring person..but I have to say that freaked me out a little bit. Needless to say I still did it. The other events at the rope course were not as scary but I have decided I need longer arms.
