Fun in the SUN!!!

Keyli would have spent all summer outside  if we let her.  We did have some fun times in the sun.  Dad decided he would take Keyli to lots of parks this summer while Mom worked and sometimes with Mom.  They had lots of fun going on all different slides and being a monkey on the playground. Keyli watched all the big kids and quickly learned how to climb up the slides and decided she was not too little for anything...climbing walls, monkey bars, etc she did it all.

We decided to get the pass of all passes this year and spent a good chunk of the summer at 7 peaks.  Keyli loved the big slides and preferred them over the kiddie pool.  Do you blame her, they are much more exciting.  She had lots of fun going down slides, playing in the wave pool, and lazy river.  Unfortunately our camera had a water accident at one of our trips and left us camera-less the rest of the summer.
Ready to go swimming!

Since mom was laid up most of June we decided to add some fun to our backyard.  Keyli loved having her own slide and once we got the pool out we made our own water slide.  She had lots of fun playing with her friends back there and even convinced dad to get in a few times.

We made it too a few parades this year and by the last one Keyli had the candy thing figured out.  She loved having friends too sit by and love on during the parade.

Can't end summer without a snow cone and lots of friends.  We hope you all had a great summer too!

Good Times

Last week one of my Dixie "roommates" (we technically never lived together) Lexi came in town. She and her mom were going to St. George for the weekend. We went to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants Los Hermanos. Yes Mike and I have the shirts so we get a free

specialty drink every time we go. Definitely worth the money!!! It was so much fun to get together and reminisce over the good ol' days. I haven't seen her in forever since she got married and decided to move to New Mexico. I hope you had a great time in St. George Lexi!

Here is the whole lunch gang Kari, Lexi, Cheyanne, Me.
Other than that our life has been pretty uneventful. We did watch Shrek last weekend. It was cute. We have both been busy with work and trying to get sleep. Working nights has gotten me all confused of when to sleep.
Hope all the Dad's had a wonderful fathers day!
