The last couple days have been very busy for us...driving up to the U almost every day. On Friday they did the egg retrieval. They s

tarted an IV and set me up with fluids and
meds to make me go to sleep. Once again my body doesn't know how to react normally. I was awake the whole time. I don't remember a lot of what was being said but apparently I made the doctor uncomfortable by watching him the whole time. The stick a needle through your uterus wall and into the ovaries and suck out the eggs. They were able to get 4 eggs out. Then we waited to hear from the embryologist on what they were doing.
Recovery
Sunday we found out that 2 of our eggs were mature and 2 were not. They fertilized the 2 mature ones and they both took...so we had 2 embryos growing.
They either do a 3 day transfer or a 5 day transfer depending on the situation. One doctor wanted to wait for a 5 day...but the doctor this morning wanted to do it today since there were only 2 embryos. So this morning at 8am I got the call to head up to the U for transfer. Both embryos were good quality and we decided to put them both in. There is a 60% chance of pregnancy so we are keeping our fingers crossed. Now we just get to wait it out.
Our 2 embryos
Once they put the embryos in I have to be on bed rest for 5 days. If anyone has any good ideas of things I could be doing that would great. Thanks for all the prayers and words of encouragement.
