Saturday's Warrior
So for all of you who didn't know...it is the 35th anniversary of the wonderful musical Saturday's Warrior. I didn't even know it was around that long. Apparently it has. Anyway they are doing a tour of the musical(in a nutshell) plus the sequel to it. Mike and I got tickets and went a week or so ago. Can I just say lots of Memories. I really thought I should have been Emily in the movie. It must have made an impression on me because I remember playing Saturday's warrior in the backyard and I think I had the whole script memorized, not just the songs. I'm sure my family loved that. The sequel is what happens after Jimmy gets married. It's full of new songs and in interesting story. Still good but of course like most sequels the original is better!

We remember you and "Saturday's Warrior" very well. I am not sure how many times you watched it, but alot!! I didn't know they were coming out with a sequel. Thanks for letting us know. We love ya'all.
How fun. I totally remember all those songs. In fact sometimes I find myself singing some of them out of the blue. I haven't seen the movie forever so it must have made an impression on mw as well.
