A Name and a Blessing

Time is going by way to fast...and despite my intentions to update my blog, I am having way to much fun enjoying my sweet baby, hopefully I will eventually catch up one post at a time.

We blessed Keyli on December 5th. It was such a great day!

We loved having our family around to celebrate our little miracle. She was the sweetest little angel that day. She was so good natured and just looked around and took it all in. Even though I am sure she was hungry she was so content to be passed around and held by everyone.
Keyli looked so beautiful in her dress. When I found this dress I fell in love with it. I went back and forth on if I wanted to get it or just use a crochet dress that I had...obviously I bought it. I wanted it to be a one of a kind so I added the little flowers and ribbon on the waist band. I also made her a little bracelet and her bow. She looked like a little angel...so precious!

Mike gave her the most beautiful blessing. She is one lucky girl to have him as her Dad. I was crying the moment he took her to bless her...I hate that I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I think I pretty much cried through the whole sacrament meeting. My feelings were so strong and I was so grateful to our Heavenly Father for giving me the opportunity to be a mom. I feel so blessed to have this sweet little spirit a part of our family. I absolutely love being a mom. I have some great examples of motherhood in my life and I hope to be as great of a mom as they are!
